The Heartland Bernese Mountain Dog Club was established in 1990 and serves Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri with members in Oklahoma, and Arkansas. It is recognized by the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America which, in turn, is recognized by the American Kennel Club.  The objectives of our club are to promote and protect the Bernese Mountain Dog, educate our members and the general public, and above all else, have fun with our dogs and other enthusiasts of our beautiful breed. Our club's membership has many diverse interests; therefore, our activities encompass a wide range of dog related sports. This is not a club consisting of only show dogs.  Companion dogs and their owners are welcome and encouraged to particiate. Please check our web site often for up to date information and announcements on newly scheduled events such as parties, draft tests, training seminars and dog shows.

We sincerely hope you, your family, and dogs will attend one of our meetings or events and get to know our members. You do not need to be a member to attend. If you have any questions, please contact any one of our current Board members listed on the web site.  We hope to see you soon.
